Pediatric Urology
Kaci Floyd is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in in pediatrics for UT Urology. She provides comprehensive urologic assessments and develops patient centered treatment plans for children in the hospital and outpatient settings. She manages the care for both acute and chronic pediatric urologic conditions, including, but not limited to voiding dysfunction, dysfunctional elimination syndrome and the array of diagnoses that it encompasses including urinary incontinence, urinary urgency, urinary frequency, constipation, recurrent urinary tract infections, and vesicoureteral reflux.
She is inspired by the resilience, strength and bravery of pediatric patients and finds it extremely rewarding to provide family-centered care that supports both child and family through open communication and understanding.
A native of the Chattanooga area, Kaci completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and spent four years as a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing at UTC and has been a family nurse practitioner for over 10 years. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Kaci is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Urological Association and the Pediatric Urology Nurse Specialists organizations.
